The brief

The owners had just completed a structural refurbishment and wanted every interior surface brought to a single, calm standard before moving in. Scope covered hallway, stairwell, drawing room, two bedrooms and all associated woodwork.

The challenge

Original lath-and-plaster walls had decades of patchy filling and flaking distemper. Each wall was stripped back, stabilised and lined where necessary so that low winter light across the tall sash windows would not reveal any undulation.

The result

A consistent chalk-white shell with soft grey-green woodwork, finished by brush throughout. The clients now use us on their rental portfolio.
